Don't Miss CCR Opportunity
It has been a delight to be back in Kigali for a month and see many of you. This week I want to send a message to draw attention to some activities that I believe will be of great benefit to many of you. They are our CCR Women's Fellowship, CCR Beginnings Class, and opportunities to discuss CCR teaching on Faith Driven Entrepreneurs in your home or office.
Our CCR Women's Fellowship will meet this coming Sunday, 31 August immediately after worship in the Youth Room above the CCR Hall. The Women's Fellowship will discuss last week's sermon, "Opportunity Knocks."
Next, if you are considering becoming a member of CCR we have created a special course called "Beginnings." In it we in detail discuss our CCR Beliefs and Vision. We will have 2 opportunities for you to attend Beginnings. One will be on Saturday, 6 September from 1 to 5. The other will be immediately following our worship service, on Sunday, 7 September. We'll provide a light lunch for those of you who attend on Sunday.
The last opportunity is that we would like to come to some of your homes or offices for 6 weeks to discuss our series on Faith Based Entrepreneurs. The plan would be to meet for approximately 1 hour each week. If you would like to host this discussion, please contact Bryan Hixson or myself.
This week our sermon topic will be "Use it or Lose It." We'll look at the Itorero Value to be avoided of ambiguity and lack of commitment, and find the words of Jesus tell us that we walk a path with an incomprehensible God who holds us responsible for our actions.
I hope to see you this weekend.
Imana Ikurinde,
Dave
P.S. Our CCR Staff has just refined our CCR Vision Statement to BY GOD'S GRACE WE WILL DEVELOP DIVERSE GENERATIONS OF LEADERS WHO WILL TRANSFORM COMMUNITIES FOR THE GLORY OF GOD. We look forward to discussing the implications of this vision with many of you.
