Sound Improvements
Eight months ago we began meeting in the Christ's Church in Rwanda Hall. It was an exciting day, but the echo made it difficult to understand much of what was said. For months we have set aside money and slowly worked on making acoustical improvements. This week we finished our stage curtain (with the help of Tom and Sue Gooch and Jeff and Lisa Jackson.)
Last night I attended a play at our hall. The acoustics are now vastly improved.
Some of you have mentioned the hall acoustics being an issue in your ability to understand the worship and teaching at CCR. Now that they are improved I would like to invite you to give us another chance. Also, I think you will just find our facility more aesthetically pleasing.
This week we will continue our series through Mark's stories of Jesus. In it we will hear the closing illustrations as Jesus stops the actions and speaks extensively for a rare moment. The closing illustrations are about the potential of a planted seed. They seem particularly appropriate for this season in our church's life as we move from a planted seed to a seedling.
I look forward to seeing you soon.
Imana ikurinde,
Dave
