Contract Obligations

A portion of our Christ's Church Rwanda Contract reads,

"We consider it our greatest joy to be the caretakers of the transitions of life. We will celebrate and dedicate the new births of children. We will educate children. We will guide youth. We will host and celebrate new marriages. And in life's finality we will comfort the grieving as their loved ones pass from this life to another; and we wait in hope for the final resurrection."

The last few weeks have been wonderful ones for our new body as the Lord has allowed us to be caretakers of the transitions of life. Increasingly our hall is being used for weddings and receptions and it is a great joy to see and hear awe and celebration at each of these events. Also, this Saturday, 11 August our staff member, Innocent Burasa will celebrate his new marriage. We trust it will be a blessed event.

Besides these life transitions our body has been blessed with the additions of several children to our body. Caleb and Jenny Beck were blessed with the natural birth of their son, Adin. Mark and Sharon Henderson were blessed with the adoptions of their sons, Nate and Zach. As our Contract states we are obligated to celebrate all of these transitions. Thus this coming Sunday, 12 August we will dedicate these new children to the Lord and entrust their life long care to Him.
