Needed: Willing Followers

Have you ever wished to have someone just walk with you? A person to listen and then show you the way forward? It seems to be a universal human need.

Mark's Story of Jesus records Jesus saying, "Come follow me."

Almost 30 years ago, I began the journey of following Him. It started with a decision to be baptized and at this point in my journey has taken me to a new church plant among all of you.

We will begin a new Sermon Series this week taken from Mark's Story of Jesus. I hope you will join us on this journey.

Several of you have spoken to me about questions concerning baptism. For the next two weeks our sermons in Mark's Gospel will attempt to answer your questions. During the next few weeks if you have any questions about baptism please don't hesitate to be in touch with me. My office is in Room 6 of the Primary School across the street from the church. We will schedule our Baptism Sunday for Sunday, 26 August to give all of you time to study, think, and pray through the implications of the decision to follow Jesus.
