Christ Church Rwanda: Children's Opportunities
Thank you for all of the patience that so many have given us as we've started a new church. It is much like being new parents as we try to adapt and develop our systems.
I wanted to pass on some news for those of you who were not with us this past Sunday.
A few of you have noticed that we have had some disruptive children in our midst. Children are always welcome at church, but also we need for them to be supervised. The number of children coming to us without supervision has grown beyond our ability to manage. Therefore, we are starting a new policy that children will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian in order to attend. We hope this policy will actually encourage us to invite more children and take responsibility for the ones we bring. For those of you who have been disturbed by the disruptive children we offer our apologies.
Secondly, we've had several new additions of children through birth and adoption in the last few months. Therefore, this coming Sunday, 30 September we will set a portion of our assembly aside to bless and dedicate these children . If you would like for your young child to be included in this dedication please feel free to contact me.
Imana ikurinde,
Dave
P.S. This week's women's fellowship has been moved to Holly Hixson's home, 276 Jacaranda Sud on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
